Antti Immonen joins Vuono Group
Antti Immonen joins Vuono Group as a Data Scientist.
Antti has a strong background in data science, strategic problem-solving, and a unique combination of mathematics and computer science. His skill set and experience with data-driven business solutions help our clients bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.
The first impression of Vuono Group, according to Antti, is that the team is full of motivated and friendly people, and the culture of trust allows everyone to make their own decisions from day one of joining the company.
“I’m very happy to be a Vuonoan! My main goal is to further develop my full-stack understanding of data science—from data engineering and platforms to the final user-friendly solution. I believe the most effective work comes from a team that can see and build the full picture, and Vuono Group is the perfect place to do just that,” Antti says.
Before joining Vuono Group, Antti gained valuable experience as a Data Scientist at Capgemini. He is just about to hold a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Aalto University and in Data Science from the University of Helsinki. The strong technical foundation and consulting skills make Antti a true strategic problem-solver.
“Antti’s strong points are data analysis and modelling. He is a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to look beyond the obvious to find the best solution. His ability to understand the full data pipeline is exactly what we need to help our clients deliver real business value,” says Teemu Moisala, the Managing Partner at Vuono Group.
His approach goes beyond simply finding the right tool. He enjoys diving deep into a challenge to evaluate a range of approaches and analyse the trade-offs between what's theoretically optimal and what's practically achievable. This holistic perspective is crucial for building effective solutions.
Outside of work, you might find Antti bouldering, working out, or relaxing in a quiet library with a good book. Autumn is his favourite season: Antti finds a special kind of comfort in the early Finnish autumn, particularly during the transition from late August into September.
