Patrick Jansson joins Vuono Group

Patrick Jansson joins Vuono Group as a Data Scientist and AI Engineer.

We are thrilled to introduce another team member, Patrick, who joined us as a Software Developer and Data Scientist. With an impressive academic background and a passion for problem-solving, Patrick brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our dynamic team.

“One of Patrick's remarkable qualities is his ability to bridge the gap between software development and data science. His expertise lies in Natural Language Processing, and he excels in breaking down complex problems into smaller, understandable components that can be effectively addressed. This is an essential skill in successful client work,” says Teemu Moisala, Founder at Vuono Group.

Patrick holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Aalto University, graduating in 2021. His academic journey includes studying and working at Arcada University of Applied Sciences, where he earned his Bachelor's in Engineering.

During his academic tenure, one standout project was his involvement in the KatuMetro research project, which focused on intelligent methods and models for mining community knowledge from social media. In addition, he has also written and co-authored papers that were accepted to workshops at EMNLP 2017 and IEEE Big Data 2017, showcasing his commitment to advancing the field of Natural Language Processing.

But which aspects of work does Patrick get the most joy out of?

“Quite simply, I like to solve problems, and I like to code. I also really enjoy the flat structure of our company and how it allows people to do what they do best without obstructions,“ Patrick says.

Beyond the world of technology, Patrick enjoys a diverse range of interests. In his free time, you might find him on the golf course, engrossed in a game of chess or exploring virtual realms through video games.
