Vuono Group appoints Joona Soratie as CEO to drive European competitiveness in the AI era
Helsinki – 1 September, 2026
Process AI company Vuono Group has appointed Joona Soratie as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 September 2026. Soratie, M.Sc. (Industrial Engineering and Management), moves into the role from within Vuono Group, where he served as VP of Business Processes & Data. He has led process and AI transformations and advised on how to fundamentally change how organisations operate. Before joining Vuono Group, Soratie led strategy at defence technology company SSH and has taught process management at leading European universities.
Under Soratie's leadership, Vuono Group is entering its next growth phase, built on years of proven product development work in business processes, data and AI. The company has helped numerous Nordic enterprises and public sector organisations transform their operations with clear, measurable impact. Now Vuono Group's platform is ready to scale, building the competitiveness European organisations need for the data and AI era.
"European companies cannot win in global competition by bolting AI onto old operating models. We need a radical systemic change in how our organisations operate. The future of European growth and competitiveness will not be built through strategy slides or pilots alone, but by fundamentally changing business processes and systems", says Joona Soratie, CEO of Vuono Group.
"Companies reinventing how they operate are outpacing everyone else every quarter. At Vuono Group, we have the means to harness data and AI as an engine of competitiveness. We're taking it to as many organisations as we can."
Soratie was a clear choice for the Board to lead the company's growth phase. He combines international expertise, industry knowledge and a strong vision for the future with deep understanding of the company's operations, customers, people and business.
“Joona Soratie's ambitious vision of building 'Europe's Palantir', and the first concrete steps toward it in the Nordics, prove his ability to lead change and help our clients succeed. Radically strengthening European competitiveness is an inspiring goal, one shared today by Vuono Group's employees and clients, and in the future by new growth-stage investors as well”, comments Lauri Eloranta, one of Vuono Group's founders and Chair of the Board.
