Smart Career Guidance at Scale with Data and AI

Jyväskylä Educational Consortium Gradia, a leading Finnish educational institution, aimed to provide students and job seekers with more individualised, accurate, accessible and continuously available career guidance and scalable support. Collaboration with Vuono Group enabled them to deliver tailored guidance at scale, ensuring every student receives the support they need to navigate their educational and career paths effectively.

The Challenge

Scalability and accessibility were the primary concerns for Gradia, which sought to provide comprehensive and timely career guidance to its large student body and job seekers in the Central Finland employment regions. They struggled with fragmented data access and resource limitations.

The Solution

Vuono Group developed an AI-powered assistant for smart, scalable career guidance, focusing on a robust, intelligent solution.

Collaboration Highlights:

  • Data-Driven AI Core: We established the backend framework, connecting it to the frontend, forming the project's core functionality. The underlying logic was developed to leverage Gradia's website content and summarise conversations.

  • Optimised Data Handling: We efficiently processed and integrated existing training material into the language model. The vector database, containing all file-based material, was made operational for efficient searching and retrieval

  • Seamless Integration: We ensured smooth integration of the AI assistant into Gradia's desired platform.

Key Achievements

  1. Scalable and Accessible Guidance: Students now have 24/7 access to career guidance, enhancing information accessibility and enabling efficient handling of common queries.

  2. Enhanced User Experience: The user-friendly interface, with its visual appeal and functionalities such as conversation summarisation, improves student engagement and satisfaction.

  3. Data-Driven Efficiency: The successful implementation and optimisation of data processing capabilities enabled the AI assistant to quickly and accurately retrieve information, ensuring efficient operations.

Vuono Group's collaboration with Gradia empowered them to deliver smart, scalable, and highly effective career guidance, allowing staff to focus on individual support where it’s needed the most.

Vuono Group has accelerated our AI adoption journey. Their expertise not only significantly improves the accessibility and efficiency of our career guidance services but also effectively helps our students navigate their career paths more easily.
